We stayed at the Boise Riverside RV Park, they are a Good Sam’s Park and $44.09 was our cost each night. Our trailer was in spot 16 and our truck in spot 17. The website gives clear information of cost for daily or monthly rates for their back in and pull through sites. They have a cabin and also several tent areas on site. There is water accessible near each of the tent sites, with additional picnic tables near the Hawk tent area. They have a playground, bike rentals, horseshoe pit, open pavilion & BBQ area, bath house with laundry area. The laundry area has 8 washers & 8 dryers, cost is $1.50 for each. The laundry area is large and includes a couple areas for folding as well as one area for items that need to be put on hangers. However, it is not in a way that more than one person can utilize this area. The bath house on the women’s side has 4 showers, one of which is ADA compliant shower. There are also for bathroom stalls and a sink area with 3 sinks. The showers & toilets are very clean. I used the shower most mornings. Additional restrooms are also available near the Office and bike rental area. There are 3 dumpsters around the RV park. The RV Park is next to the Boise River and has a greenbelt area for walking, jogging and biking. There is also a Propane filling station on site. They offer free WiFi and it has worked well, but it won’t allow you to stream video.
A few years back we actually stayed here in a tent, but it was just overnight after attending a concert in the area. We never used any of their amenities. We had lunch one afternoon at Mister BBQ which is located in a strip mall. It isn’t much to look at on the outside or inside, but it is clean. There is local art for sale on the walls. The BBQ is excellent and so is the service.
